Solution Architect/ Field Application Engineer

Overview

Serve as the technical bridge between Tenstorrent and customers across India as a Solution Architect/Field Application Engineer. Work with customers, partners, sales, and global engineering teams on AI/ML workloads, solution designs, evaluations, deployments, troubleshooting, and performance of Tenstorrent’s AI platforms.

What you'll do

• Understand AI and machine learning workloads.
• Guide technical solution designs.
• Work with internal teams on tokenomics.
• Guide customer discussions, evaluations, and deployments.
• Troubleshoot issues across hardware and software.
• Help customers realize the performance of Tenstorrent’s AI platforms.
• Build trust with application developers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
• Translate complex AI/ML hardware and software concepts into clear recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Coordinate internal teams, external service providers, and customer stakeholders.
• Travel to customer sites for meetings, installations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept delivery.
• Participate as a key member in marketing events and trade shows.
• Architect and deploy AI/ML solutions across customer use cases, including Generative AI and LLM applications.
• Lead the full customer engagement lifecycle, from pre-sales technical discovery and demonstrations through proof-of-concept delivery and production deployment.
• Collaborate with product development, engineering, research, sales, and business development teams to influence AI software and hardware solutions.
• Help establish regional service capabilities and support Tenstorrent’s presence in India and beyond.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience as a Solutions Architect, Field Application Engineer, Application Engineer, Sales Engineer, or in a similar customer-facing technical role focused on AI/ML software and hardware.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Deep familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Experience designing scalable AI solutions and deploying applications in cloud environments.
• Experience guiding physical installation of hardware servers, accelerator cards, and PCIe devices.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• English language proficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, vision models, model deployment, training, or fine-tuning.
• Experience with C++, CUDA, parallel programming, or kernel development.
• Hindi or other Indian language proficiency.

• Remote, based out of India.
• Frequent travel to customer sites throughout India and beyond.
