Solution Architect - Shared Services

Overview

Solution Architect (Shared Services) who designs secure, scalable end-to-end solutions for Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, and the Office of the CIO, with emphasis on ServiceNow and AWS.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for moderately to highly complex initiatives across shared-services domains.
• Lead discovery and translate functional/nonfunctional requirements (security, privacy, retention, auditability, availability, recovery, performance, scalability, supportability, cost) into architecture options.
• Create and maintain architecture deliverables including current/target-state views, diagrams, deployment models, data flows, integration designs, and architecture decision records.
• Serve as ServiceNow architecture lead covering workflows, data model (CSDM/CMDB), integrations, identity/security, custom apps, environments, and governance.
• Design AWS solutions aligned with AWS Well-Architected principles and define infrastructure automation using CloudFormation and/or Terraform.
• Embed DevOps/DevSecOps practices into designs (CI/CD, testing, security scanning, monitoring/logging, release/rollback, operational handoff).

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of progressive experience designing and delivering enterprise technology solutions with end-to-end ownership.
• ServiceNow solution or platform architecture experience in a large enterprise environment (not only admin/development).
• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture (e.g., application scopes, Business Rules, Script Includes, ACLs, APIs, configuration).
• Strong AWS architecture experience across core domains with ability to evaluate security, resilience, operational, performance, and cost trade-offs.
• Hands-on infrastructure as code experience using AWS CloudFormation and/or Terraform.
• DevOps or DevSecOps experience with Git-based delivery, CI/CD, automated testing, deployment automation, observability, and production supportability.
