Solution Engineer

Overview

Senior Solution Engineer working with sales and channel partners to solve complex customer problems, run value-based demos, support enterprise proof of concepts, and close business.

What you'll do

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
• Demonstrate and communicate Snowflake value across the sales cycle from demo to proof of concept through design and implementation.
• Use industry knowledge to maintain a deep understanding of competitive/complementary technologies and position Snowflake accordingly.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve products and marketing.
• Work hands-on with customers and prospects to connect business problems to Snowflake solutions.

What you'll need

• 7-8 years of industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a pre-sales environment.
• Outstanding presenting skills with both technical and executive audiences.
• Experience with large-scale database/data warehouse, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.
• Ability to perform deep discovery of customer architecture frameworks and connect them with Snowflake data architecture.
• University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields (or equivalent experience preferred).

Details

• Location must be based in Atlanta, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, or South Carolina.
• Travel is expected to be approximately 30%.
