Solutions Engineer

Overview

Solutions Engineer focused on IT Security and Compliance, acting as the technical backbone of the sales process for Kaseya’s security portfolio.

What you'll do

• Deliver high-impact product demonstrations for security offerings.
• Design layered security architectures and compliance frameworks.
• Lead technical discovery aligned to client threat profiles.
• Advise clients on aligning security posture with regulatory frameworks.
• Provide post-sale technical consulting for deployments and security optimization.
• Partner with Product Management using customer feedback and threat intelligence.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of pre-sales or technical solution architecture experience in cybersecurity, email security, or managed security solutions.
• Hands-on knowledge of email security (phishing defense and DMARC/DKIM/SPF), Microsoft 365 security management, SIEM log analysis, and MDR workflows.
• Understanding of user-based security including IAM, MFA, and security awareness training strategies.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST (800-171/800-53), and CMMC.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure (Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID, core networking) and vulnerability assessment tools such as OpenVAS and Nessus.
• Familiarity with MSP service delivery models, SOC workflows, and ITSM practices (ITSM/ITIL certification a plus).
• Ability to translate threat and compliance requirements into business value for executives and stakeholders.
