Solutions Engineer, Acquisition | West Coast | Remote

Overview

Solutions Engineer (Commercial Solutions Engineering, Acquisition) delivering customer-facing technical expertise to help qualify and close opportunities.

What you'll do

• Partner with Sales to articulate Grafana value proposition and strategy to customers.
• Own technical engagement with customers to help close high-velocity opportunities.
• Deliver product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers.
• Proactively communicate with customers and internal teams to provide feedback on products and competitive landscape.
• Drive product conversations based on needs and problems learned from customer interactions.
• Enhance documentation and create enablement materials (blog posts, videos, and knowledge base articles).

What you'll need

• Have 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience.
• Ideally have experience with Open Source technologies or in Metrics/Monitoring.
• Be able to work with an international, remote-first team.
• Have strong written and oral communication skills.
• Be able to articulate the value proposition and technical advantages of the products.
• Have a technical mindset and a desire to grow technically.
