Overview
Solutions Engineer (Life Sciences) who engages with life sciences customers to understand technical needs and deliver hands-on proof-of-concepts and prototypes on the Domino platform.
What you'll do
- Engage with customers to understand workflows, constraints, and frustrations.
- Design and run hands-on proof-of-concept projects tailored to customer environments.
- Work with account executives to design architectures for life sciences data governance, reproducibility, and validation needs.
- Build and maintain reusable technical environments and reusable technical assets.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Solutions Architects to support success after POCs.
- Build custom prototypes and applications on top of Domino using AI-assisted coding tools.
What you'll need
- Technical background from life sciences or a general tech/solutions environment.
- Working knowledge of at least one life sciences domain (drug discovery, clinical development, computational biology, manufacturing/QC, or regulatory data management).
- Platform or tooling ownership experience (built, operated, or contributed to an internal platform or shared scientific computing environment).
- Experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales, or other customer-facing technical roles diagnosing technical problems.
- Led or contributed to technical evaluations, pilots, or proof-of-concepts that drove adoption or investment decisions.
- Proficiency in Python and/or R and hands-on experience with data science/ML tools used in life sciences.
