Specialist, Customer Order Fulfillment

Overview

Specialist responsible for customer order fulfillment and delivery performance for Ciena’s Americas customer base. The role connects customers with Supply Chain, Sales, and Services teams to resolve fulfillment issues and improve supply chain execution.

What you'll do

• Implement process improvements to enhance delivery performance.
• Translate customer feedback into supply chain action plans.
• Manage customer escalations and resolve supply issues.
• Coordinate recovery plans with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Chair weekly customer order board calls.
• Manage quarter-end order pull-ins and shipment approvals.
• Track shipments, resolve credit holds, and prioritize orders and RMAs.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of supply chain experience.
• Order management or fulfillment expertise.
• University or college degree.
• Proficiency in Oracle, Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across supply chain functions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

• Remote role in the UK Zone 2.
• Must be able to work North American hours.
