Specialist - F&A - AP 4A

Overview

Specialist role in Finance and Accounting (Accounts Payable) at Genpact, responsible for processing and verifying invoices and maintaining accounts payable records.

What you'll do

• Calculate and post business transactions, process invoices, and verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records.
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO.
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval.
• Ensure quality of AP processes and handle all non-compliant and non-standard processes within the country.
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices, calculating and taking discounts when applicable.
• Check vendor files for previous payments and assign voucher numbers.
• Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures.
• Identify and implement AP improvements.
• Perform vendor reconciliation and manage the vendor payment cycle, GRIR reconciliations, vendor advances, etc.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or Master's in Finance.
• Required skills include Accounting, Account Maintenance, Accounts Payable Process, Cora APFlow, Financial Analysis Reporting, Invoice Payments, Monthly Close Process, Oracle Database, Reconciliations, Data Reporting, Data Analytics, Data Visualization, Process Standardization, Query Resolution, Change Management, Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Generative AI, Automation Technology, Customer Experience (CX), Help Desk Support, and Online Transaction Processing (OLTP).
• Language: English, Upper Intermediate (B2).

Nice to have

• Accounts Payable Certification, Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
