Sr. Area Sales Manager, Eyecare

Overview

Lead district eyecare sales performance to meet/exceed district sales plans and Brand KPIs within expense budgets.

What you'll do

• Deliver district sales performance and Brand Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Optimize resource utilization by leading, developing, and coaching the sales team.
• Set sales targets and incentive schemes.
• Manage sales force management systems and KPIs to improve district performance.
• Ensure regular updates on the sales team’s medical, technical, and special in-field knowledge.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary in-field teams (including key account management) and align in-field and brand team activities.
• Monitor regional engagement and account-plan outcomes to inform brand planning and anticipate market needs.

What you'll need

• Any Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 9+ years of experience.
• Relevant experience in biotech/pharma sales or sales management in at least one therapeutic area with a proven track record.
• Proven leadership, management, and coaching experience cross-functionally or with teams.
• Knowledge of territory and established relationships with key stakeholders.
• Ability to build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other stakeholders.
• English language proficiency verbally and in writing (for non-English speaking countries).
