Sr. Engineer - Facility & Engineering

Overview

Lead facility and engineering operations for a development centre and warm shell office in Manesar, covering utilities, electroplating lines, maintenance, compliance, and emergency response.

What you'll do

• Oversee facility maintenance and engineering utilities, including power, water treatment, compressed air, and steam systems.
• Maintain electroplating lines, wastewater treatment systems, and chemical-processing equipment.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to reduce downtime.
• Manage technicians and contractors, including training, performance reviews, and resource allocation.
• Lead audits, risk assessments, training, and regulatory compliance in a chemical environment.
• Optimize energy use, utility costs, sustainability initiatives, budgets, and maintenance KPIs.
• Coordinate process improvements, capital projects, emergency response, and leadership reporting.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
• 13–15 years of experience in facility and maintenance operations.
• Experience with chemical, specialty chemicals, or electroplating manufacturing.
• Knowledge of industrial utilities, electroplating technology, and chemical manufacturing processes.
• Experience managing teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Proficiency with CMMS, EHS management systems, SAP, and MS Office.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, reporting, and stakeholder-management skills.
