Sr. Mechanical Engineer ORE

Overview

Sr. Mechanical Engineer (Order Related Engineering) responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and supporting order fulfillment for municipal water pumps, systems, and accessories.

What you'll do

• Provide technical support to Sales Managers and Applications Engineers during the sales phase.
• Create and enter part numbers, BOMs, and other MRP data for order entry, procurement, and manufacturing.
• Develop fabrication drawings for assemblies and components for internal/external manufacturing and suppliers.
• Generate engineering data for engineering/structural analyses and for manufacturing requirements.
• Prepare order-related engineering designs, drawings, and data for submittals.
• Develop and maintain standardized technical data and documentation for products and accessories.
• Source third-party products for ancillary and accessory solutions.

What you'll need

• 7 to 8+ years of industrial experience in vertical pump design & engineering.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD.
• Experience working with an MRP system as SAP.
• Experience with 3D Inventor, 2D AutoCAD, and Siemens NX.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or significant directly related experience in lieu of the degree).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to document clearly and effectively orally and in writing.
