Sr RDE Engineer

Overview

Senior Coverage Tools Support Specialist (Sr RDE Engineer) to serve as a development liaison with Motorola Solutions’ Coverage Test Center (CTC).

What you'll do

• Diagnose software anomalies found during field coverage testing and route resolutions to development teams.
• Manage support channels to assist users and drive final release validation testing.
• Update technical documentation and coordinate field tests in an Agile environment.
• Oversee validation testing and release guidance through CTC support activities.
• Analyze complex field diagnostics issues and coordinate resolution workflows with software engineering.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in coverage design and testing.
• Technical expertise with ASTRO 25 and LMR platforms (Hydra, Voyager, Magellan systems).
• JavaScript and Google Apps Script to develop/analyze/maintain system rules.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; employer sponsorship not available.

Details

• Remote work in the United States, with working preference for Central Standard Time (CST).
• Travel requirement: under 10%.
