Overview
Sr Staff Agentic AI Engineer at Equinix Incubation, building “human surfaces” for agentic systems that support the software delivery lifecycle end to end.
What you'll do
- Design and build persona consoles like decision inboxes, review surfaces, approval queues, and commitment views.
- Make agent actions legible, including what the agent did, why, confidence, and what needs human input.
- Build dashboards and telemetry for cycle time, throughput, quality, adoption, agent health, and cost.
- Create executive value boards comparing committed vs realized value.
- Develop backend-for-frontend, APIs, and event consumers connecting consoles to an orchestrator and enterprise systems such as Jira.
- Implement enterprise authentication/authorization (SSO, OAuth) and ensure data boundary compliance.
- Ship frontend and BFF on an enterprise React stack with CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
What you'll need
- 6-10 years of professional software engineering experience owning large-scale production systems.
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying LLM-powered applications, AI agents, or intelligent automation platforms.
- Experience designing evaluation frameworks, testing strategies, and governance models for AI-enabled systems.
- Expert proficiency in Python or Java or TypeScript.
- Strong background in distributed systems, APIs, platform engineering, cloud-native and event-driven architectures.
- Experience leading technical initiatives across teams.
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
