Sr Systems Engineer

Overview

Sr Systems Engineer responsible for Windows Server/IT operations, incident/problem management, and leading a team with 24x7 coverage.

What you'll do

• Deliver IT service operations and troubleshoot technical issues across IT operations.
• Lead incident, problem, and change management aligned to ITIL processes.
• Drive root-cause resolution using structured methods (e.g., 5 Whys, RCAs, Kepner-Tregoe) and “solve once.”
• Manage team coverage through planning/rosters to ensure optimal 24x7 coverage.
• Produce daily/weekly/monthly reports and weekly/monthly KPI dashboards.
• Manage individual contributors and/or junior managers, including performance management and feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead internal operational projects.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of IT experience.
• At least 5 years managing 12–15+ team members.
• Experience with Windows Server administration and leading IT operations/service delivery.
• 10+ years of experience with Windows Server, IIS, application support, SQL, and clustering.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools including Azure Monitor, LogicMonitor, SentryOne, and AppDynamics.
• Experience in global command center/monitoring operations (L1–L2).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT; relevant IT certifications are a plus.
