Sr. Traffic Engineer

Overview

Sr. Traffic Engineer (Traffic cum Transportation Engineer) specializing in traffic/transportation studies, including traffic due diligence studies.

What you'll do

• Monitor traffic surveys and network inventory and collect secondary data.
• Liase with relevant authorities in the field during surveys.
• Use data analytics tools and techniques to extract, analyze, and interpret traffic data.
• Communicate site observations and technical findings to the reporting manager.
• Prepare detailed technical reports with findings, actionable insights, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project evaluations.

What you'll need

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience or be a fresher.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools such as MS Excel, Python, Power BI, or similar.
• Ability to use traffic analysis/modelling software such as VISUM (advantage if you have it).
• Good verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of relevant traffic regulations, standards, and guidelines.
• Master’s in Traffic/Transportation Engineering/Planning or related.
• Bachelor’s in civil engineering or a relevant field.
