Staff Corporate Software Engineer

Overview

Staff Corporate Software Engineer responsible for end-to-end technical vision and major technical decisions for a squad.

What you'll do

• Take end-to-end ownership of short- and long-term technical vision.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers within and beyond the team.
• Improve technical quality via regular technical design and code reviews.
• Own major technical decisions for the squad and influence team decisions.
• Share expertise through regular tech talks and/or blog posts.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, product managers, customers, partners, and leaders.

What you'll need

• 8+ years equivalent experience on senior engineering roles.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft .NET stack (C#/JAVA/.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs).
• Expert knowledge of SQL databases (Postgres, Microsoft SQL Server, or others).
• Strong front-end skills: HTML5 and JavaScript; TypeScript and React are a plus.
• Experience with Git, unit testing, debugging, profiling, and performance monitoring.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants to write, refactor, debug, or review code.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs into product features.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering basics for coding or productivity use cases.
• Experience establishing or improving AI tool usage guidelines/policies.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Kubernetes.
