Staff Layout Designer

Overview

As a Staff Layout Designer, you will design and manage high-quality IC layouts for analog, digital, and array circuits, including critical blocks and tape-out support.

What you'll do

• Understand design constraints and implement high-quality layouts.
• Use Cadence VXL on periphery blocks.
• Debug and resolve LVS, DRC, and layout issues.
• Oversee layout process activities including floor-planning, placement, and routing.
• Create layout for critical blocks such as Temperature sensor, PLL, ADC, DAC, LDO, Bandgap, Ref Generators, Charge Pump, Current Mirrors, Comparator, and Differential Amplifier.
• Execute secondary layout tasks including ECO, LCO, and DFM.
• Coordinate with TD, Design, CAD, and layout teams to deliver on schedule.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience in layout.
• Proficiency using Cadence VXL on periphery blocks.
• Strong debug and problem-solving skills for LVS, DRC, and layout issues.
• Hands-on experience creating layout of critical blocks.
• Good understanding of analog layout fundamentals including matching and electro-migration.
• Understanding of layout effects on speed, capacitance, power, and area.
• Knowledge of design rules to deliver quality layout.
