Overview
Staff Site Reliability Engineer focused on building and operating security solutions to harden cloud infrastructure across services.
What you'll do
- Lead initiatives to strengthen security posture for critical infrastructure and share best practices.
- Respond to production security incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Build automation to prevent incidents and maintain high performance and reliability.
- Automate manual security processes using custom tooling and CI/CD integrations.
- Develop technical documentation, runbooks, and procedures for a 24x7 online environment.
- Continuously evolve monitoring platforms from auditing to active, automated prevention.
- Serve as a liaison between Security and Engineering to influence the security roadmap.
What you'll need
- 8+ years architecting and running complex cloud networking and infrastructure.
- 7+ years specialized in DevSecOps or Cloud Security.
- 3+ years hands-on experience securing GCP (GKE, GCE, Shared VPC).
- 10+ years experience using Terraform and Chef for complex cloud resources and OS hardening.
- Expert proficiency in Go, Python, or Ruby for custom security tooling and automated remediation.
- Experience securing containerized workloads (image scanning, K8s RBAC, runtime security tools such as CrowdStrike Falcon, Falco, or gVisor).
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
