What you'll do

• Ship fast against a roadmap you help shape and influence technical direction.
• Interface with working scientists and translate learnings into engineering priorities.
• Partner with product and design to turn scientist workflows into shipped product.
• Work with research to improve science model capabilities, including shaping evals and surfacing failure modes.
• Feed real-world user issues back into model development.
• Drive cross-team alignment to ship impactful work.

What you'll need

• Have 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Have 2+ years at a Staff or equivalent technical leadership level.
• Have built products from 0 to 1 in fast-moving environments.
• Have built AI products and understand how to turn model capabilities into usable applications.
• Be comfortable working with technical domain experts and translating what you learn.
• Have ability to set technical direction with limited precedent.

Details

• Annual salary range: $405,000 to $485,000 USD.
• Location-based hybrid policy: expected in an office at least 25% of the time for staff.
• Visa sponsorship: sponsors visas for some roles/candidates with an immigration lawyer retained.
