Synthesis Engineer, Sr Lead

Overview

Senior Lead Hardware Synthesis Engineer focused on planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems and hardware designs.

What you'll do

• Plan, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems across circuits and Digital/Analog/RF/optical subsystems.
• Integrate features and functionality into hardware designs aligned with proposals or roadmaps.
• Conduct complex simulations and analyses and implement designs optimizing power, performance, and area.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new requirements and improve yield, test time, and quality.
• Evaluate and develop manufacturing solutions and bring-up for leading-edge products to meet customer expectations and schedules.
• Write detailed technical documentation for hardware projects.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree plus 3+ years of hardware engineering (or equivalent alternatives listed).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to provide supervision/guidance to other team members.
• Verbal and written communication skills to convey information.
• Experience planning, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems.
• Experience evaluating complex design features for flaws, compatibility, and/or compliance issues.
