System Applications Engineer

Overview

Analog Devices is seeking a customer-facing System Applications Engineer on its customer solutions team, focused on system-level applications for RF communication systems and ADEF platforms.

What you'll do

• Architect, develop, and maintain embedded software projects for embedded processor/FPGA/microcontroller platforms.
• Develop and integrate FPGA IP and embedded software for system-level and application-specific solutions.
• Perform system bring-up, validation, and lab integration including hardware–software co-debug, RF testing, and performance characterization.
• Interface with customers and field teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions and system architectures.
• Collaborate with global engineering, marketing, and applications teams to deliver integrated system-level applications.
• Provide customer support via official ADI support channels and contribute to customer enablement activities.

What you'll need

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in designing, implementing, and supporting embedded software for RF communication systems.
• Strong embedded Linux software development experience.
• Strong FPGA-based systems experience, including FPGA IP development and targeting AMD/Xilinx or Intel (Altera) platforms.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and shell scripting.
• Experience with MATLAB and Simulink for model-based design and code generation.
