Team Developer

Overview

Team Developer role on the APAC Securities Settlements / Client Services team, handling pre-matching, settlements, sufficiency, depot transfers and controls for equity products in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

What you'll do

• Handle pre-matching, matching, narrations, and timely settlement of trades, including value date and failing trades.
• Perform stock loan reconciliation and depot management functions across APAC markets.
• Maintain good connect with LOB partners and handle issues and escalations independently.
• Contribute to consistent delivery on business metrics and set higher standards of self and team performance.
• Build productive teams that work effectively together to achieve or exceed operational targets and client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Create improvements in business processes by contributing ideas and implementing agreed changes into the team's day-to-day operations.
• Perform all tasks following company policy and procedures, including legal and regulatory requirements, and prescribed company standards.
• Act as a process SME.
• Provide coaching and support to individuals to develop their skills, acting as a role model for excellent behavior and performance.
• Liaise with LOB effectively to manage service delivery in line with the SLA and ad hoc situations.
• Handle monthly deliverables such as dashboards and risk matrices.
• Reduce failing trades and increase settlement efficiency.
• Be part of BAU alongside strategic and efficiency initiatives.
• Be flexible and willing to work extra hours during the week with overflow of volume and to provide cover for planned and unplanned holidays.

What you'll need

• Education: Graduate/Postgraduate.
• Experience range: 4-5 years.
• Good understanding of Global Capital Markets.
• Global markets / settlements experience.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize daily workload and work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Investment Banking operation experience.
