Technology Service Specialist, AVP

Overview

Support and improve production engineering platforms for Corporate Bank trade finance and lending applications. Drive automation, resiliency, incident resolution, and service operations across globally distributed teams.

What you'll do

• Manage production support for trade finance and lending applications.
• Automate manual support activities and improve monitoring and observability.
• Analyse and remediate platform performance and resiliency issues.
• Manage incidents, changes, problems, maintenance outages, and service requests.
• Maintain systems architecture and engineering standards for application platforms.
• Lead or mentor production support teams and develop team capabilities.
• Drive adoption of SRE, DevOps, AI, machine learning, and automation tools.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years in large corporate production environments or Financial Services Technology.
• Experience leading teams and managing people.
• Experience with SRE, DevOps, Agile, CI/CD, and SDLC controls.
• Experience with complex infrastructure including UNIX, databases, middleware, and cloud tooling.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an IT-related discipline, or equivalent experience or diploma.
• Knowledge of SQL, scripting, monitoring, deployment, scheduling, and incident-tracking tools.

Nice to have

• Global Transaction Banking or Corporate and Investment Banking experience.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• PMP certification from PMI.
• Google Cloud Platform experience.
• Knowledge of documentary credit, supply chain financing, and loan servicing.
