Territory Manager - South India

Overview

Territory Manager for South India responsible for securing maximum sales volume for company products and services from new and existing customers in the assigned territory.

What you'll do

• Engage current and prospective customers to protect existing business and add new business in the owned territory.
• Interact with customers to sell company products and services credibly, using a hunter approach.
• Manage assigned distribution channels in the owned territory.
• Own the complete sales process from start to finish for sales in the owned territory.
• Develop strategies and proposals, secure and renew orders, and inform customers of supply and price trends.
• Maintain customer requirements and ensure information sharing on product and service conformance to schedule and requirements.
• Keep records and report on sales forecasting, sales plans, sales calls, and expense accounts.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred (not mandatory).
• Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
• Consistent record of value selling and application selling techniques.
• Knowledge and experience handling distribution channels.
• Good knowledge and experience in pressure sensors, flow sensors, level sensor and miniature valves.
• Solid grounding and understanding of CRM (SFDC experience is a plus).
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills, mainly Excel.

• Work involves approximately 50% travel to visit new or existing customers.
