Territory Sales Executive, Chennai

Overview

Territory Sales Executive for Bakery & Foodservice, promoting concept selling through premixes to bakeries and other outlets.

What you'll do

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets for the assigned territory.
• Call on nominated customers with frequency and duration aligned to a cost-effective journey plan.
• Prepare monthly customer plans to achieve volume targets by product group and extend B&FS distribution and usage.
• Ensure receivables follow the company’s credit policy.
• Maintain accurate territory outlet understanding and an effective admin system (customer record cards, daily call reports, expenses, work plan).
• Develop B&FS market knowledge and arrange demonstrations/exhibitions to capitalize on opportunities.
• Ensure agreed promotions are fully implemented and leveraged.

What you'll need

• 1 to 2 years of selling experience.
• Exposure in distributor handling.
• Knowledge of the food/catering/baking industry.
• Knowledge of the territory to be covered.
• Knowledge of local language.
• Graduate qualification, preferably with hotel management.
• Communication, interpersonal, problem-solving/analytical skills.
