Test Automation Engineer

Overview

Test Automation Engineer role focused on designing, developing, and executing automated testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases and regression suites using the organization’s automation framework.
• Lead functional, regression, UAT, and performance testing activities across financial and trading applications.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to align on quality objectives and timely delivery.
• Lead automation initiatives and implement automation best practices and process improvements.
• Report, track, and manage software defects and testing activities throughout the SDLC.
• Contribute to release management by validating application releases and supporting environments.
• Mentor junior team members and promote QA standards and continuous quality improvements.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 years of experience is required.
• Proficiency in Playwright.
• Experience designing and implementing automated test scripts using Playwright and VeriFix.
• Extensive knowledge of FIX Protocol and experience with FIX-based trading applications.
• Strong understanding of automation testing frameworks, regression automation, and continuous integration pipelines.
• Knowledge of financial markets, investment banking, and trading platforms.
• Proficiency with Jira and test case management tools for bug tracking and test case management.

• Based at Pune Magarpatta office; 2 days in a week.
• Location: Pune.
