Trainee Installation Specialist

Overview

Trainee Installation Specialist (CribMaster EMEA) is a field-based, early-career role supporting installation, setup, and care of CribMaster hardware and software-enabled solutions at customer sites.

What you'll do

• Support installation, setup, and care of CribMaster hardware and software-enabled solutions at customer sites.
• Assist with deployments, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
• Handle customer requirements support and ad-hoc technical support tasks.
• Prepare data for support/installation activities.
• Visit customer sites and provide support as an essential part of the role.
• Follow safety guidance, checklists, and structured training material.

What you'll need

• No previous installation or technical experience required.
• Extensive training is provided through mentorship and structured learning modules.
• Willingness to develop mechanical aptitude through training.
• Strong interest in technology, hardware, software, tools, and systems (electronics and RFID knowledge taught).
• Ability to follow instructions, checklists, and safety guidance.
• Willingness to learn basic problem-solving and escalate issues when needed.
• Good written and verbal English; additional languages helpful but not required.
• May require access to export-controlled defence technology and restricted customer environments (eligibility assessed case by case).
• Ideally hold a valid driving licence or be willing to work towards obtaining one.

Details

• Location: United Kingdom (Remote in ATS) and field-based with very frequent, often weekly travel across the UK, EMEA, and beyond.
