Transactional Procurement Analyst

Overview

The Transactional Procurement (PR-to-PO) Analyst ensures efficient and accurate execution of procurement transactions, managing the process from requisition creation through purchase order issuance and goods receipt management. The role reports to the Head of S2P Delivery.

What you'll do

• Process purchase requisitions in compliance with procurement policies and guidelines by reviewing and validating requisition details for accuracy and completeness.
• Generate purchase orders based on approved requisitions, specified requirements and supplier agreements.
• Submit purchase orders based on approved requisitions to the right supplier.
• Ensure purchase orders are fully integrated in the Sanofi ERP/backend system and fix issues and errors.
• Ensure goods receipts are fully integrated in the Sanofi ERP/backend system and fix issues and errors.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information for requisition processing.
• Communicate with requestors to clarify specifications and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor and track purchase order status and provide regular updates to relevant parties.
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and SoX processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of transactions.
• Address and resolve issues related to purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts and other transactional procurement matters.
• Prepare ad hoc reports on Purchase Request, Purchase Order and Goods Receipt transactional data.

What you'll need

• Previous experience in transactional procurement or a related field.
• Familiarity with procurement systems and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Fluent in English, spoken and written.
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of eProcurement systems such as Coupa or Ariba.
• Understanding of procurement best practices.
• Degree in business, supply chain management, or a relevant field.
