US Banks Analytics, Associate/Analyst, WM Admin, Wealth Management

Overview

Associate/Analyst role in Morgan Stanley’s Analytics & Data team, focused on analytics for US Banks within Wealth Management.

What you'll do

• Support US-based colleagues with reporting, insights generation, and process optimization/maintenance for US Banks.
• Perform performance measurement via KPI reporting, analytical deep dives, client profile analysis, segmentation, and ad hoc strategic requests.
• Create and maintain new datasets and solutions by leveraging data from disparate sources and formats.
• Build scalable reporting and visualization frameworks for actionable insights and consistent performance tracking/benchmarking.
• Develop analytical solutions with an emphasis on automation for new and existing processes.
• Partner with Data Strategy, Infrastructure, and Tech teams to drive continuous improvement in processes and platforms.

What you'll need

• Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on data analytics/data sourcing from multiple platforms.
• Experience in data programming & SQL: 2–2.5 years (Analyst), preferably in financial services.
• Experience in Data & Analytics: minimum 3 years (overall 3–5 years) (Associate), preferably in financial services.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to use data visualization tools like Tableau and understand end-to-end dashboard setup as well as automated process setup (desirable).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail for numerical information.
