Validation Engineer

Overview

Validation Engineer responsible for embedded firmware and system software validation for Mark VIe platforms, including test development, automation, execution, debugging, and issue closure.

What you'll do

• Coordinate integration, validation environments, and debugging of system software.
• Develop and maintain system-level setups for product validation.
• Create, automate, and execute validation plans and test cases.
• Debug, triage, and systematically close reported failures.
• Collaborate with architecture, firmware, program management, component development, and technician teams.
• Improve test coverage, release automation, and firmware/software release efficiency.
• Procure required hardware and software with the sourcing team.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in testing and test script development.
• Significant knowledge of embedded testing.
• Knowledge of the bug life cycle.
• Experience using instruments such as function generators and DMMs.
• Experience with Visual Studio test development using C#, SpecFlow, or Gherkin.
• Ability to analyze script failures.

Nice to have

• Visual Studio TFS tool knowledge.
• Experience validating Mark VIe control systems.
• Experience with MODBUS, Profibus, Profinet, FF, CAN, or Ethernet protocols.
