Overview

Valuations - Pricing Specialist, Associate 2 supports portfolio pricing control activities, including running control reports, resolving exceptions, and producing client-specific valuation reports.

What you'll do

• Run missing, variance, and stale control reports and resolve exceptions per client instructions.
• Apply missing prices, validate variance/stale using alternate vendor data, and research corporate action securities.
• Perform portfolio-level pricing and generate/publish client-specific reports.
• Ensure daily receipt of pricing feeds, broker quotes, backup pricing sources, and relevant data.
• Identify, research, and resolve prices that break set tolerance levels and address fair value situations.
• Review and approve pricing packages/checklists for accuracy, detail, audit trail, and timeliness.
• Escalate issues to management/client as required and train/mentor new valuation coordinators.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of experience in securities pricing, fund accounting, or custody operations/securities administration.
• Knowledge of capital markets and complex securities.
• Demonstrate ability to analyze problems, obtain/evaluate information, and reach sound conclusions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including teamwork.
• Proficiency in Excel and Access (spreadsheet/database applications).
• Basic understanding of regulatory frameworks and strong attention to detail.
• MS Office suite proficiency is required.
