Venue Services Network Associate

Overview

Venue Services Network Associate role within the venue services team, supporting connectivity and automation needs across many exchanges and trading venues on PicoNet.

What you'll do

• Own technical relationships with global exchanges and trading venues across network, connectivity, protocol, and entitlement levels.
• Translate venue connectivity information into Pico internal standards to drive automation on Pico’s network.
• Coordinate with commercial and licensing teams to align network configuration and ACLs with client data entitlements.
• Assess impacts of exchange or venue changes and provide technical change requirements to network implementation teams.
• Work with network automation to enforce standards and reduce manual maintenance of Pico data.
• Improve automation for data collection and data validation to ensure accuracy and integrity.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years’ experience in a network, exchange connectivity, market data, or capital markets technology role.
• Strong understanding of exchange connectivity and market data delivery models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail for data content and quality.
• Working knowledge of Python, bash, and advanced Excel.
• Good understanding of TCP vs UDP reliability and statefulness and related network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of routing protocols (BGP), multicast routing (IGMP, PIM), and NAT (Static/Dynamic).

Details

• Hybrid position with weekly time in the office and flexibility to work from home.
• Travel may be required from time to time but is not expected to be regular or frequent.
