Overview
Hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud (Payroll) Implementation Consultant supporting end-to-end Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations for North American clients.
What you'll do
- Participate in client discovery, business process discussions, fit-gap analysis, and requirement gathering.
- Analyze business requirements and prepare Functional Solution Designs (FSDs), configuration workbooks, test scripts, and deployment documentation.
- Perform hands-on configuration of Oracle Cloud Payroll and support data conversion requirements and validation.
- Prepare FSDs for integrations, reports, Fast Formulas, data conversions, and application enhancements; support unit testing and troubleshoot issues.
- Define and coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and resolve defects.
- Support Parallel Payroll testing (reconciliation and variance analysis) and investigate/resolve functional issues during cutover and post-go-live stabilization.
What you'll need
- 4–8 years of Oracle HCM experience with strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Payroll.
- Hands-on experience implementing at least 3 Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations.
- At least one full end-to-end Oracle Cloud Payroll implementation from Discovery through Go-Live and Hypercare/Post-Production support.
- Strong hands-on experience configuring Oracle Cloud Payroll.
- Experience working with cross-functional modules including Core HR, Time and Labor, Absence Management, Benefits, Compensation, and General Ledger.
- Experience with gathering requirements, fit-gap analysis, FSDs, configuration, data conversion, CRPs, SIT, UAT, Parallel Payroll testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills, including supporting remote customer engagements.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting US Government/Public Sector implementations (City, County, State, and Higher Education).
- Knowledge of US Payroll legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Exposure to payroll-impacting Oracle Cloud modules including Time and Labor, Absence Management, Benefits, Compensation, and Finance/General Ledger.
