Advanced Engineer, Transducer

Overview

Transducer Engineer for Automotive Audio Division, supporting in-vehicle transducer development and design documentation.

What you'll do

• Support NPD/R&D projects and facilitate transducer engineering activities.
• Develop common work practices, procedures, and design standards with other audio design groups.
• Provide documentation that defines and verifies transducer designs (e.g., sketches, BOMs, acoustic data sheets, DFMEAs, DVP&Rs).
• Use and evaluate virtual design (simulation), sample validation, and cost efficiency analysis for in-vehicle applications.
• Work with a global team to develop and present design solutions.
• Set objectives, measure performance, and develop engineers via coaching and counseling.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of related transducer design experience.
• Knowledge/use of modeling/analysis/FEA packages such as Magnet and ANSYS.
• Experience leading project teams.
• Understanding of world-class best practices in transducer design, development, and manufacturing techniques.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly in English.
• Detail-oriented and able to connect theoretical thinking to implementation.

Details

• Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India (Old Mumbai-Pune Rd.).
• Travel: up to 15% domestically and internationally.
• Work location requirement: R&D Center in Suzhou.
