Overview

Advisor, Software Development Engineering for an experienced Senior BASE24 QA role on an Agile/Scrum team delivering payment-processing testing across international projects.

What you'll do

• Validate and certify payment processing functionality and enhancements delivered in each sprint.
• Determine test approach with the Scrum team and commit to delivery commitments.
• Design test cases that validate user stories against defined acceptance criteria.
• Translate functional requirements into test requirements and implement test scripts for functional/regression testing.
• Execute manual and automated tests, schedule and run test cycles, and report results.
• Raise, analyze, and triage defects; reproduce issues and maintain automation after each cycle.
• Maintain test environments, test script repositories, and produce technical testing documentation.

What you'll need

• Experience as an Agile/Scrum QA tester with participation in sprint ceremonies.
• Proven ability to translate functional requirements into automated test requirements.
• Experience scheduling test execution, reporting, and maintaining automated test suites after each run.
• Experience maintaining test environments and test script repositories using version control such as Git.
• Ability to raise, triage, and investigate defects with comprehensive test evidence.
• Experience with at least one payment switch solution, e.g., BASE24.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS and PCI PIN security requirements’ impact on testing.
