Asset Accounting Senior Analyst

Overview

Asset Accounting Senior Analyst responsible for accurate, timely end-to-end asset accounting and reporting, including statutory accounting, audits, and tax transactions, while adhering to policies and procedures.

What you'll do

• Supervise and monitor prompt, accurate recording of financial transactions across the asset life cycle (e.g., AUC, capitalization, disposal).
• Ensure timely delivery of end-to-end asset accounting and performance reporting, including monthly and quarterly stakeholder reporting.
• Monitor open and overdue items and follow up with the appropriate team.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness and review reconciliations as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements in reconciliation activities.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations relevant to asset accounting and related systems.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Recognized professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, or CIMA).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in general and/or financial accounting.
• 1 year of proven experience in Fixed Asset Accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency with SAP.
