Assistant Manager Sales & Marketing

Overview

Assistant Manager in Sales & Marketing reporting to the Sales Manager, supporting sales lead research, business generation, and coordination across hotel departments.

What you'll do

• Maintain a library of reference materials, periodicals, texts, and sales leads.
• Track market trends and hotel selling techniques and research where business originates.
• Go on sales trips to promote and solicit business for the hotel.
• Maintain contacts with airlines, travel agencies, commercial houses, and other associates to procure new business.
• Coordinate with Food and Beverage for community promotions and special projects.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Housekeeping for reservations and handling inquiries, requests, and complaints.
• Supervise personnel within the Sales Department and execute direct mail campaigns with Public Relations.

What you'll need

• At least 2 years’ experience in the same position in an upscale hotel.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a team with good communication.
• Hotel or Business School graduate.
• Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s degree.
• Self-motivated with a focus on guest experience and satisfaction.
