Overview
Associate CSR Specialist supporting sustainability performance through strategic Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) planning and program implementation in Bangalore.
What you'll do
- Contribute to improving sustainability performance in the assigned area.
- Support implementation of the group sustainability strategy and business-specific priorities.
- Design and implement CSR programs aligned to corporate sustainability priorities and business objectives.
- Provide feedback to management and employees on lessons learned and best practices.
- Manage stakeholder engagement with NGOs, government departments, academic institutions, and other partners.
- Track and report CSR and ESG progress using data analytics and management reporting.
- Support impact measurement and governance controls, including compliance and reporting to relevant boards/obligations.
What you'll need
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in CSR, sustainability, community development, or related roles.
- Master’s degree in one of the listed fields from a recognized institution.
- In-depth knowledge of CSR provisions under the Companies Act, 2013, Schedule VII, CSR Rules, and reporting obligations.
- Experience developing multi-year CSR strategies and thematic interventions (e.g., education, healthcare, environment, skilling, livelihood, community development).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports, updates, and documented communications.
- Knowledge of impact assessment approaches (e.g., Theory of Change, Logical Framework Analysis, SROI, KPI frameworks).
- Experience in CSR budget planning, grant management, fund utilization monitoring, reconciliation, and auditing requirements.
