Specialist, Engineering Services

Overview

Specialist, Engineering Services is an on-site role supporting project and development services through daily site operations, MEPF works management, and compliance with safety/quality plans.

What you'll do

• Maintain smooth and seamless site operations daily.
• Solve site design problems in coordination with design consultants.
• Manage construction of MEPF works and keep related records for reporting.
• Ensure projects comply with occupational health and safety legislations, standards, and codes of practice.
• Prepare and manage implementation of the Project Management, Project Safety and Quality Plan.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
• Carry out negotiations with contractors and suppliers.
• Represent the client across project stages from pre-construction to completion.

What you'll need

• Proven expertise in site management.
• Certified professional in a building-related discipline with significant site supervision experience (certification described as a requirement).
• Minimum five years’ experience if holding B.E./B.Tech Electrical or Mechanical (or minimum eight years if holding a Diploma Mechanical/Electrical).
• Background in industrial, Life science/Pharma/Clean rooms/Data Centre/Semiconductor and other relevant projects.
• Leadership skills.
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills for delegating tasks and motivating contractors.
• Competence/willingness to constantly improve existing competencies and learn the job.

• Scheduled weekly hours: 48.
• Minimum skills listed include HT works, LT works, FA and PA, BMS Utility, piping works, water (hot/cold) piping, fire-fighting piping, process piping, boiler works, compressor works, structural fabrication and erections, pipe rack erection works, and STP/ETP/WTP works.
