Overview

Associate, Operations in S&P Global’s Customer Excellence group, supporting Third Party Risk Management through customer onboarding implementations for KYC services.

What you'll do

• Manage large project implementations for customer onboarding.
• Perform KYC onboarding and remediation including full review and risk assessment.
• Conduct client outreach and screening, including alert disposition for entities and related parties.
• Review and disposition alerts generated through screening.
• Monitor priority items and escalate key risks/issues to management on time.
• Identify and execute process improvements and support process/technology initiatives.
• Liaise with internal departments to complete work on time while maintaining confidentiality.

What you'll need

• 0–1 years relevant experience in Corporate KYC and AML Compliance.
• Detailed understanding of entity types (e.g., NBFI, corporations, GP/LP, LLC, trust, fund, SPV, bank).
• Knowledge of agreements and how to extract relevant info (e.g., LLC agreement, PPM, limited partnership).
• Ability to extract relevant information from the public domain.
• Exposure to KYC/screening tools such as Quantified, Accuity, World-Check, Lexis Nexis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
