Business Process Architect

Overview

Design and deliver high-performance SAP applications using ABAP on HANA, modern data modeling, and governed AI capabilities. Build production-ready solutions with secure integrations, testing, observability, and enterprise reliability.

What you'll do

• Design and develop ABAP solutions optimized for SAP HANA pushdown.
• Build CDS-based data models, services, APIs, and reusable data artifacts.
• Implement AI-enabled SAP experiences using retrieval grounding and tool orchestration.
• Develop automated tests and evaluation harnesses for ABAP and AI behaviors.
• Implement guardrails, authorization-aware filtering, audit logs, and safe failure modes.
• Integrate SAP services with SAP and non-SAP ecosystems and support end-to-end delivery.
• Instrument services with logs, metrics, and traces for production support.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of experience.
• Strong hands-on ABAP Development for HANA expertise.
• Proficiency with CDS views, associations, annotations, and authorization concepts.
• Experience with AMDP and SQLScript for performance-critical scenarios.
• Experience with LLM integration, retrieval grounding, tool orchestration, evaluation loops, and safety boundaries.
• 15 years of full-time education.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of OData, API lifecycle management, and contract-first development.
• Experience integrating SAP backends with cloud runtimes and enterprise integration platforms.
• Familiarity with performance benchmarking, load testing, and query-plan tuning.
• Knowledge of SAP security, authorizations, and compliance requirements.
