Core Operations, Associate 2

Overview

Core Operations Associate 2 responsible for day-to-day processing for assigned clients and portfolios, including settlement and reconciliation activities.

What you'll do

• Coordinate with global Centres of Excellence, Client Operations, shared services, and Joint Venture operations to complete assigned day-to-day processing.
• Analyze clearing house activities (DTC, DTCC, CREST, Euroclear) to confirm pre- and post-settlement steps are followed.
• Review faxed and electronic instructions, validate against static data, and support reconciliation/enrichment processes.
• Follow backup procedures during system application and/or transmission issues.
• Research and resolve exceptions and inquiries, and support help-seeking for exception resolution.
• Identify unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and report/escalate per policy.
• Assess trade booking/capturing/validation/enrichment and amendments against market guidelines and internal cut-offs.

What you'll need

• Minimum 4 years of related custody and/or fund accounting experience.
• Strong exposure to initiating client/counterparty/third-party calls.
• Strong computer competence in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Accuracy and detail-oriented work style.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree with business-related coursework; Accounting/Finance preferred.
