Cost Analyst - Soft trims ( Engineer)

Overview

Cost Analyst role focused on costing, reporting, and cost optimization for commodity parts within projects.

What you'll do

• Perform costing and reporting for commodity parts based on per-project milestones.
• Follow the costing guideline and use reference data to update CGL.
• Handle capitalization of product and process data related to the commodity.
• Propose cost reduction opportunities in parts manufacturing processes.
• Challenge suppliers/stakeholders using technical and economic explanations.
• Visit suppliers to collect required costing information and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support digital transformation of process and operations.

What you'll need

• Experience level is not stated.
• Must use costing/reporting inputs such as RFQ, COST, and F4 (as referenced).
• Must be able to update CGL using reference data (as referenced).
• Must provide cost reduction proposals with technical and economic background explanations.
• Must collect costing information via supplier visits (as referenced).
