CPU STA CAD Engineer (Lead/Staff/Sr Staff)

Overview

CPU STA CAD Engineer responsible for building and supporting analysis tools and flows for custom CPUs, ensuring power, performance, and area targets.

What you'll do

• Architect and recommend methodology improvements for silicon power, performance, and area.
• Maintain, support, and debug STA and timing closure (ECO) flows.
• Resolve project-specific issues in STA/timing closure flows.
• Work with worldwide CPU physical design teams and provide methodology guidance.
• Collaborate with EDA vendors to define roadmaps and resolve tool issues.

What you'll need

• Have a bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (and 6+ years hardware engineering or related work experience) OR a master’s degree (and 5+ years) OR a PhD (and 4+ years).
• Minimum stated hardware engineering experience for this role is 6+ years (or 5+/4+ depending on degree).
• Experience maintaining and debugging STA and timing closure (ECO) flows.
