Job description
Overview
Electrical Engineer - Consulting to provide power system consulting and engineering support to global clients in Mumbai.
What you'll do
- Deliver power system consulting and engineering support using power system software.
- Perform power system analysis such as load flow, short circuit, motor start, and transient stability.
- Design and review electrical systems including power distribution and industrial control systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical tripping incidents, site failures, and technical issues.
- Provide training, helpdesk, and technical support to customers.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and workshop materials based on project requirements.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or a related field.
- 2-4+ years of working experience in a similar industry or equivalent.
- Proficiency in fundamental electrical engineering principles.
- Knowledge of electrical products and their workings.
- Experience using PSCAD/ETAP or other similar software for power system studies.
- Knowledge/exposure to FACT devices such as SVC, STATCOM, and active filters.
