Engineer - Electrical

Overview

Engineer - Electrical role focused on electrical system design, calculations, drawings, and site support for building and infrastructure projects.

What you'll do

• Own electrical system design and implementation for building and infrastructure projects.
• Design power distribution layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and electrical calculations (cable sizing, voltage drop analysis, fault level studies).
• Create electrical drawings, specifications, and load calculations aligned with project requirements and safety standards.
• Prepare technical datasheets and material requisitions, and conduct vendor reviews for quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
• Conduct site inspections, supervise installation work, and support commissioning and site queries.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2-5 years of professional experience in electrical design and engineering for building or infrastructure projects.
• Strong proficiency with ETAP, AutoCAD, or equivalent power system analysis/design tools.
• Solid knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards and their application in design.
• Expertise in power distribution systems, lighting design, and emergency electrical systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex electrical issues.

Nice to have

• Experience with power system studies, substation design, or industrial electrical systems.
• Certification in electrical safety or related professional credentials.
