Engineer - Electrical Component

Overview

Electrical Equipment and Systems Engineer to perform engineering studies and specifications for electrical systems, including protection design, vendor documentation review, and support through erection and commissioning.

What you'll do

• Conceptualize and prepare electrical single line diagrams (SLDs).
• Perform system studies such as load flow, short circuit study, and load balance using ETAP.
• Conduct motor starting studies for HV and MV systems.
• Design electrical protection systems including tripping matrix.
• Prepare CT/VT sizing calculations and design MV/LV switchgear circuitry.
• Develop cable sizing, cable lists, and termination charts.

What you'll need

• Electrical Engineering degree.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience in electrical engineering in power/industrial projects for related activities.
• Knowledge of national and international codes/standards such as IS, IEC, IEEE.
• Ability to handle turnkey packages of electrical equipment and systems.
• Strong ability to communicate verbally and in written English.

• Location: Noida, India.
• Reporting to Engineering Manager - Electrical Components.
• Functional reporting to Project Lead Engineer.
• Requires some short travels abroad and within India.
• Performance measured on quality and on-time delivery of project tasks.
