Overview

Qualcomm Hardware Engineer - Engineer - FPGA role focused on planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems for next-generation products.

What you'll do

• Plan, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems including FPGA and/or DSP systems.
• Integrate hardware features and functionality aligned to proposals or roadmaps.
• Run simulations and analyses and implement designs for power, performance, and area.
• Collaborate across design, verification/validation, software, systems engineering, and architecture teams.
• Evaluate and develop manufacturing solutions for leading-edge products and bring-up.
• Assess design features to identify potential flaws, compatibility issues, and/or compliance issues.
• Write detailed technical documentation for hardware projects.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience (with a bachelor’s degree).
• OR 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience (with a master’s degree).
• OR a PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
• Works independently with minimal supervision.
• Verbal and written communication skills are required.
