Engineer Manager, HR Applications

Overview

Engineer Manager leading HR applications engineering for Workday and related HR systems. This role supervises day-to-day Workday operations while managing team growth, technical leadership, and stakeholder delivery.

What you'll do

• Scale and grow the HR Engineering team by hiring, onboarding, and training engineers supporting Workday and HR functions.
• Provide functional and technical leadership and mentoring to team members.
• Supervise day-to-day activities of the Workday instance.
• Design user-friendly processes, guidelines, and documentation.
• Analyze business requirements with stakeholders and drive planning, development, testing, and implementation.
• Identify opportunities for HR process automation.
• Manage vendor RFPs and relationships for HRIS and related boundary systems.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience with 3+ years leading an applications team supporting HR functional areas.
• Working knowledge of Workday and related integrations.
• Experience integrating with HR platforms such as ATS, LMS, and performance systems.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical partners to drive alignment.
• Experience applying Lean, Agile, ITIL, or process improvement to prior workflows.
• Experience partnering with Security teams and delivering solutions meeting high security standards.
• High proficiency in Jira, Slack, and G Suite.

• Work mode: Remote - USA.
• Base salary range: $193,970 to $228,200 USD (annual, excluding equity and bonus).
