Overview
The Engineering Executive handles incident management, facilities helpdesk requests, remote monitoring, work permits and operational reporting for critical systems and facilities on a global scale.
What you'll do
- Handle incidents and work orders for critical systems through incident management software.
- Provide updates and follow-ups within SLA, escalate incidents, and communicate with stakeholders.
- Prepare post-incident reports with detailed root causes for business-affected incidents.
- Prepare and share open incident status reports monthly.
- Handle facilities service requests through D365/CFS.
- Receive and log complaints with complete request details.
- Assign requests using the appropriate service-level hierarchy and dispatch them to the appropriate department.
- Coordinate with assignees, monitor response times, follow up on request progress, and communicate with requestors through task closure.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly facilities service-request reports, including recurring-call reports.
- Assist the manager with analyses and prepare or contribute to monthly management reports for clients.
- Work with engineering and facilities departments on operational procedures.
- Remotely monitor mail and voice alarms for critical systems.
- Monitor Iconics alarms and faults for remote locations and escalate potential issues according to SLA.
- Record alarms and faults by shift and compile monthly records for stakeholders.
- Prepare and share weekday and weekend work-permit reports according to SLA timelines.
- Record permit-status communications and prepare end-of-work reports.
- Prepare duty logs at the end of each shift.
- Prepare weekly histograms, daily Iconics alarm/fault reports, weekly incident reports, monthly management reports and ad hoc reports for the relevant teams, clients and stakeholders.
- Put best practices in place and work with the team to meet performance targets set out in the KRA.
